Job Description

PWC engines are equipped with on-board data recorder solutions (FAST /DCTU) that transmit wirelessly engine full flight data to PWC Ground station servers for data processing and reporting for diagnostic and health management analysis to determine applicable engine maintenance tasks.

The DPHM Ground team is looking for a system engineer, good team player, that can perform operational technical support, in-service issues root cause analysis, and that will be actively participating into software development life cycle activities to update and improve Ground station processing performance.

Required qualification and skills:

- Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
- 5-8 years of engineering experience required in the field of aviation with focus in system software design and development.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards (ARINC 429, ARINC 717, Canbus, DO-178B/C, DO-278)
- Experience with engine control systems and requirements writing.
- Good teamwork skills, strong analytical skills and highly motivated
- Strong communication in English both verbal and written is mandatory.
- Experience with Agile development, TFS and GitHub tools
- Knowledge of software development process and software development tools (C/C++ and Python)
- Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills

Role and responsibilities:

- Provide ground-based systems technicalsupport for ground software (MonitorTM) in collaboration withcustomer support, Engineering, OEM manufacturer
- Responsible to analyze converter issues, follow-up all ground systems in service issues, coordinate root cause analysis and remedial actions implementation.
- Support all phases of the ground system software engineering life cycle (requirement development, design, implementation, test, installation, system verification and validation and maintenance )
- Lead coordination for software validation testing and deployment with third party suppliers
- Participate to ground systems support procedures documentation.
