Role Summary

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer (7+ years) with deep hands-on experience in .NET Core backend development and ReactJS frontend development. This role supports the Capital Finance division of the Banking domain project and is structured as an individual contributor (IC) role. Candidates are expected to design, build, and maintain web applications, write unit tests, collaborate with distributed Agile teams, and contribute to secure, production-ready code.

Must-Have Technical Skills & Required Depth

C# and .NET Core

7+ years of backend development. Should have built RESTful APIs, implemented layered architecture (Controller-Service-Repository), exception handling, logging frameworks (e.g., Serilog/NLog), and reusable services.

ReactJS (v16+)

Minimum 1.5–2 years hands-on with reusable components, JSX, routing, and API integration via Axios/fetch. Familiarity with React Hooks and lifecycle methods is expected. State management (Redux/Context).

SQL Server (T-SQL)

6+ years of writing joins, stored procedures, and functions. A candidate should understand indexing basics, query execution plans, and should have optimized queries within transactional workflows. Full DBA-level tuning is not expected.

ASP.NET MVC

Should have developed apps using routing, controllers, filters, and Razor views. A clear understanding of the MVC pattern and dependency injection is required.

JavaScript + jQuery + HTML/CSS

5+ years in UI development. Should know JS event handling, form validations, DOM manipulation, and styling using CSS3. jQuery usage is expected for legacy UIs.

Unit Testing (NUnit/MSTest)

Should have written test cases with assertions, test data mocking, and understand the test lifecycle. Use of Moq or equivalent is preferred, but not mandatory.

Version Control (Git)

Should have used Git for daily operations – branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution. Understanding of trunk-based or GitFlow workflows is desirable.

Agile Experience

Should be familiar with Scrum ceremonies, working in sprints, JIRA usage, and delivering stories with DoD coverage.

CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Inferred from responsibilities. The candidate should have experience reviewing pipeline status, resolving test failures, and contributing to Dev/Test CI processes. Ownership of the pipeline setup is not expected.

Client Communication

Should be able to articulate work progress in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, demos). Prior exposure to direct client calls or onshore-offshore syncs is expected.

Incident and Defect Handling

Should have participated in L2-level incident investigation, root cause discussions, and contributed to the resolution of production issues.

Security Remediation

Experience collaborating on the remediation of OWASP or scanner-flagged vulnerabilities. Understanding of secure coding principles like input validation, output encoding, and session handling is required.

Documentation & Reporting

Should be able to write internal design notes, test plans, and maintain user stories/tasks. No formal system documentation required.

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

AngularJS / Kendo UI / ExtJS

Legacy UI support. Should have worked on bug fixes or enhancements in AngularJS or other JS frameworks used in older codebases.

Selenium / TestNG

Should have written or maintained Selenium-based scripts for UI regression. Integration with CI is a bonus.

Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Familiarity with writing tests before code, even if under mentorship. Conceptual understanding is expected.

REST/SOAP Services

Comfortable consuming REST APIs using HttpClient/fetch. SOAP familiarity is a plus, not essential.

Cloud Awareness (Azure/AWS)

Basic understanding of cloud hosting, environment variables, and deployment pipelines. Hands-on not required.

Microservices Concepts

Awareness of service separation and modular APIs. Implementation via containers or service meshes is not expected.
