Job Description

Your Role

- Delivery of business improvement initiatives supporting the business strategy.
- Accountable for the definition of the functional requirements of supporting IT systems, in a manner enabling technical definition and development by both internal and external developers.
- Configure system changes and document changes performed, adhering to the change procedures.
- Thoroughly unit test and integration test new development work to the standard required for promotion to production. Manage system changes through to the Production environment following IM methodology, ensuring a quality delivered solution.
- Maintain the integrity of the ECC Service processes and ensure support issues are resolved in line with the defined global process.
- Work closely with the business and contribute to business forums and be involved in global projects as required

To Succeed, you will need -

- Graduate, with at least 5 years experience in a Service organisation.

- Experience in the implementation/development of ECC PM (Plant Maintenance) & CS (Customer Service) modules with good understanding of related modules (SD, MM, FI).

- Good user level knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and Service Management, ideally gained within a similar industry.

- System configuration experience / Technical delivery skills are fundamental

- Familiar with transaction involved in Service processes, with good user level and configuration knowledge for the Service roles in ECC: Return / Repair Orders, Service Orders, Service Contracts, and Notifications.

- Understanding of business process flows for Service Contracts, In-House Repairs, and Field Service operations.

- Familiar with master data involved in Service Processes: Materials, Equipment's, Service products, Service determination, Task list, BOM, Warranty

- Experience in Service Subcontracting process preferred but not essential.

- Knowledge of ABAP programming & HANA platform preferred but not essential.

- Strong interpersonal skills are a necessity. Specifically, must be an excellent team player forming strong working relationships within the IT function and the business community, have excellent listening and oral communication skills, be persuasive and assertive, be plausible and effective when dealing with senior managers.

- The ability to understand business requirements and translate these into viable solutions within the SAP Solution Footprint (Blueprinting, writing of functional specifications, testing).

- Fluent in English
