Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at the Postgraduate Department of Psychology, JNC, based in Bengaluru. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course materials, delevering lectures, conducting practical and guiding students in the field of psychology. Additional responsibilities include participating in curriculum development, research guidance, internship supervision, conducting research, and engaging in other academic duties as required.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Psychology, including a strong theoretical and practical understanding of the subject
- Experience in Curriculum Development and postgraduate-level teaching
- Skills in Teaching and conveying complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Research skills, including the ability to conduct independent research and contribute to academic publications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in Statistics and Research Methodology
- Ability to collaborate with faculty and work as part of a team
- Ph.D. in Psychology and/or a related field such as NET
- Prior teaching experience at the PG- level is preferred
