We are now looking for Senior SPI Designer to execute projects and support bids in Navi Mumbai, India.

Reports To

The Senior SPI Designer reports to Head of Discipline, Instrumentation & Automation.

Job Overview

The Senior SPI Designer is responsible for handling engineering design review and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.

In your role, you will Lead and Execute multiple projects (local and international) with the designer team and also will be responsible to prepare instrumentation and automation engineering documents and drawings as required for project and assigned by Discipline Manager.

You should have a desire to be at the forefront of the oil and gas sector and deliver outstanding projects.

Responsibilities And Duties

You will support the team on process industry-based project design work for smooth execution.

- To assist Engineers / Design Manager / Discipline Manager for the engineering design of the project.
- Ensure verification of source data, concept drawings / concepts as required.
- Prepare and finalize the engineering document deliverable register (EDDR) in coordination with all relevant department / discipline, submission date as per Client / Contract requirements.
- Preparation of all I&A related design deliverables through MS-office, Smart plant tools (SP3D, SPI), AUTOCAD, NAVIS, Micro-station, PDS, PDMS, Aveva E3D, etc.,
- Review of design document, drawings, etc. issued by various discipline, design subcontractor and ensure Client requirements.
- Review meetings (3D modelling, plot plan review, Constructability study)
- Responsible to ensure approval of all submitted documents and drawings and necessary coordination with Client.
- Preparation of Material Take Off
- Overall responsible for inter discipline coordination, submission of necessary design documents/ deliverables and procedures to the Client.
- Ensure compliance to Laws and Statutory Regulations, Authority, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Requirements for the project.
- Responsible to ensure unclear issues are resolved with Client through technical query in coordination with inter discipline leads, managers.
- Coordinate for the preparation of asbuilt.
- You have to work on following IAE tools to perform designing and drafting activities for Design, Execution and As-built.
- Smart Plant 3D (E& I Cable Trays & instrument Modeling, extraction of drawings)

Expertise ismandatory.

- Smart Plant Instrumentation User - Expertise is mandatory
- SPR (Smart Plant Review)
- Smart Sketch
- PDS (E& I Cable Trays & Equipment Modeling) Expertise is mandatory
- MicroStation
- AutoCAD (Smart working / Macros) Expertise is mandatory
- Navisworks
- Microsoft Office (Fast working / Macros / formatting) Expertise is mandatory

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate (BSc. Or Diploma.)
- Minimum of 10 years relevant designer experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
- Expertise in SP3D, PDS, MicroStation J & AutoCAD
- Must have worked in FEED and EPC projects and delivered to ADNOC Onshore
- Telecommunication knowledge added advantage.
- Working experience with reputed Engineering Consultant(s) is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Team player, smart-working, problem solver and can-do attitude
- Fluent in English language.
