Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance and Control Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and control measures to ensure product integrity and quality Develop recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions Inspection and Testing Oversee the inspection of incoming materials ensuring that they meet required quality standards Supervise the routine analysis of metals including mechanical and chemical testing Ensure that all testing procedures follow established standards and specifications Documentation Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality tests inspections and outcomes Prepare reports on quality control activities findings and improvements Compliance and Standards Ensure compliance with national and international standards such as ISO ASTM relevant to steel manufacturing Stay updated with industry standards trends and best practices in quality control Continuous Improvement Identify areas for quality control improvement and cost reduction Implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency Team Management and Training Supervise and train QC staff in quality control procedures and standards Promote a culture of high quality and continuous improvement within the team Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Metallurgy Materials Science Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the steel metal manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of steel properties metallurgical processes and manufacturing techniques Familiarity with quality standards and certifications applicable to steel manufacturing Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in quality control software and statistical analysis tools 1-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Speak with employer 9054471056 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Experience total work 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
