Job Title Website Social Media ManagerDepartment Communications and MarketingReports To Head of CommunicationsLocation PuneJob Summary The Website Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing the schools online presence This includes maintaining the schools website developing and executing social media strategies and ensuring that all digital content aligns with the schools brand and mission The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media trends and website management Key Responsibilities Website Management Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of the schools website Ensure website content is current accurate and engaging Optimize website performance including SEO and user experience Collaborate with the IT department to address any technical issues Social Media Strategy Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance the schools online presence Create curate and manage content for all social media platforms e g Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies as needed to stay current and effective Engage with the school community through social media responding to comments and messages in a timely manner Content Creation Develop compelling and relevant content that promotes the schools programs events and achievements Work with the communications team to produce multimedia content including videos graphics and blog posts Ensure all content is consistent with the schools brand voice and messaging Analytics and Reporting Monitor and analyze website and social media performance using analytics tools Provide regular reports on key metrics including traffic engagement and conversion rates Use data insights to inform and refine digital strategies Collaboration and Support Work closely with various departments to gather information and create content that supports their goals Provide training and support to staff on best practices for website and social media use Stay informed about developments in digital marketing and education technology Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media or a related field Proven experience in website management and social media marketing Strong understanding of SEO web analytics and social media platforms Proficiency in content management systems CMS and social media management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
