Role: RB - Affluent Business: Project Head - Wealth 2.0

Reporting to:Group Executive - Affluent Banking, NRI, Cards & Payments
Wealth is one of the strategic focus areas for Axis as a Group, and for Axis Bank in particular. Axis today has a strong wealth proposition in the form of Burgundy Private. Wealth 2.0 is conceptualized as a project that will catapult Burgundy Private (BP) to the position of being the most preferred wealth manager in the country. This will be reflected in both, business metrics like AUM, revenue, market share, as well as customer loyalty metrics like NPS, brand consideration score, products per client. The key themes of work identified under Wealth 2.0 are Product, Platform, Process, People and Brand.
The Project Head - Wealth 2.0 will lead a team to work with the BP and BP-equivalent Myrtle businesses, as well as the NRI business, to design and execute this strategy. The overall project will be a P1 project for Axis Bank and quarterly reported to the Board.
Key responsibilities:
Work with the BP and BP-equivalent Myrtle leadership to articulate the aspiration and target metrics for the combined business. Define strategy to acquire new customers, deepen existing base and to tap emerging HNIs (ETB and NTB).
Translate the aspiration into initiatives across the 5 themes of Product, Platform, Process, People and Brand.
- Product: Engagement with stakeholders (across the Axis group and external) to deliver appropriate innovative product strategies for clients.
- Platform: Drive the identification and implementation of appropriate solutions for portfolio reporting and analytics.
- Process: Drive differentiated & personalized journeys within the Compliance guardrails
- People: Engagement with stakeholders to build a cohesive people strategy including productivity enhancement, training, retention & incentive structures
- Brand: Branding & communication strategy with clear positioning that increases awareness and consideration among the target segment
Work with the leadership to drive outcome metrics across these 5 themes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration (or equivalent), with 10+ years of relevant experience in driving projects / product strategy
Role Proficiencies:
- Understanding of the Wealth Management context in India
- Ability to engage with and drive outcomes at all levels of the organization, and with external partners
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to articulate strategic vision to the ManCom and Board
- Ability to see strategy through to successful execution
