Job Summary

Physics Wallah (PW) is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join our School of Healthcare (SOH) as an Assistant Faculty MLT. The role involves teaching and training students in the Medical Laboratory Technology program, including delivering lectures, conducting practical demonstrations, and overseeing laboratory sessions. The ideal candidate will equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for a successful career as a Medical Lab Technician.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop MLT domain content as per the university curriculum under the guidance of the Head of Academics, PW IOI SOH.
- Deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and laboratory sessions on subjects such as Microbiology, Pathology, Routine & Special Lab Techniques, Histology, Serology, and Infection Control.
- Design and administer assessments (quizzes, exams, and practical evaluations) to monitor student progress.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and professional development support to students.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the medical laboratory field and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Academic Director, Program Manager, and fellow faculty to enhance program quality and relevance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
- Assist in the procurement of laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
- Support senior faculty in delivering academic duties.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 12 years of clinical experience and 23 years of teaching experience in MLT or similar programs.
- Strong knowledge of medical lab operations, Pathology, Microbiology, Histology, Serology, and quality control practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans and hands-on laboratory exercises.
- Proficiency in using automatic, semi-automatic, and manual medical lab equipment, troubleshooting, and related software.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment will be an advantage.
