Kitchen Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Kitchen Helper with basic cooking knowledge to assist in food preparation kitchen maintenance and supporting the chefs during meal service The ideal candidate should be able to handle basic cooking tasks and contribute to a clean organized and efficient kitchen environment Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of ingredients such as chopping vegetables marinating meats and portioning items Perform basic cooking duties under the supervision of senior kitchen staff Support cooks and chefs during service with plating garnishing and assembling dishes Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment tools and workstations Wash dishes utensils and cookware as needed Store food items properly and monitor stock levels of supplies Dispose of kitchen waste properly and follow food safety protocols Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors accurately Help with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries Qualifications Basic knowledge of cooking methods kitchen equipment and food safety Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Good communication and time management skills Working Conditions Fast-paced kitchen environment May require working evenings weekends or holidays Exposure to heat sharp tools and cleaning chemicals Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 7 000 00 - 8 000 00 per month Work Location In person
