Job Title: Snowflake Developer Experience: 5–10 Years Location: Chennai / Bengaluru / Pune / Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and Snowflake, with hands-on experience designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant data systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. - Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data using SQL and integration tools. - Create and manage Snowflake objects including schemas, tables, views, warehouses, roles, and security models. - Implement performance tuning strategies such as query optimization, clustering, and caching. - Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party tools. - Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using tools like Informatica/IICS, Talend, DBT, Airflow (based on project requirements). - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions. - Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Snowflake and advanced SQL programming. - Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration tools. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services. - Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and performance optimization. - Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, DBT, or similar. - Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Informatica/IICS, Talend, or similar ETL tools. - Exposure to CI/CD practices and version control systems. - Certification in Snowflake or cloud platforms is a plus.
