Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Documentation Specialist-Engineering team is responsible for Design and publish professional technical documentation for commercial foodservice equipment including user manuals, installation guides, maintenance documentation, and training materials. Transform raw technical content into visually compelling, brand-compliant published outputs. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout professional technical documents ensuring brand consistency and compliance with international standards Manage document production workflow from manuscript to final print/digital output Create and edit technical illustrations, diagrams, exploded views, and optimize 3D rendered images for publication. Develop visual hierarchies, typography standards, and design systems for multi-page technical publications. Collaborate with technical writers, engineers, and SMEs to ensure accurate visual presentation of technical information. Manage version control, asset libraries, and maintain production schedules for multiple concurrent projects. Prepare documents for print and digital distribution across multiple formats and platforms. Required Tools Knowledge: Adobe InDesign (must have) Adobe Illustrator (must have) Adobe Photoshop (must have) Microsoft Word (must have) Quark Express (Preferred) Exposure to Maya/3D animation Software (Preferred) Exposure to After effects /Premiere Pro (preferred) Qualifications and Skills: Education: - Bachelor's/Diploma in Graphic Design, Desktop publishing, Visual communication, or related field - 2-5 years proven experience in desktop publishing for manufacturing/industrial documentation - Advanced proficiency: Adobe in Design (Layout and Typesetting), Adobe illustrator (technical illustrations), Adobe photoshop (image editing) - Expert understanding of print product specifications, colour management and file formats. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and technical schematics for accurate visualization. - Strong proficiency in typography, design principles and visual communication - Portfolio of published technical documentation demonstrating professional design and layout capabilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with CMS/documentation management platforms and publishing workflows. Knowledge of XML/DTIA for structured publishing and multi-channel output Video editing and motion graphics experience for digital documentation HTML/CSS knowledge for web-based technical publication Experience with foodservice/commercial kitchen equipment documentation and international standards (ISO,CE) Working knowledge of Maya or equivalent 3D software for product visualization optimization Proficiency with Acrobat Pro for PDF creation and document study. ******
