This is a position with grade 13 This position reports to SeniorProjectManager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver and implement analytics strategy in one or more functional areas in alignment with business stakeholders. Each day, you will build and maintain large-scale statistical models that turn billions of data points into insights and actions. You will also showcase your expertise by driving data-driven strategy and decision making for predictive analytics and optimization by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: • Front-End Development – Translate design mockups into responsive web pages or applications using HTML and CSS, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation. • Application Development & AI Enablement – Build end-to-end frameworks, integrating data analytics and AI capabilities for enhanced functionality. • Software Design & Support – Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities, aligning with customer needs and ABB standards. • Machine Learning & Data Science – Develop and fine-tune ML models for predictive analytics, classification, and recommendation systems. • Data Analysis & Visualization – Perform exploratory data analysis, preprocess data, and create compelling visualizations for non-technical stakeholders. • Project Planning & Collaboration – Define solutions, manage projects, track progress, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data science solutions. • Continuous Learning & ML Deployment – Stay updated on the latest AI/ML trends and deploy ML models as REST APIs for seamless integration. Qualifications for the role - Educational Background & Experience – Engineering or master’s degree in data science with 8+ years of AI/ML expertise. - Front-End & JavaScript Skills – Proficiency in responsive web design and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.. - AI/ML & Data Science Expertise – Strong Python skills, experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, and knowledge of Manufacturing/Process Industries. - Cloud & Deployment Proficiency – Familiarity with Azure ML Studio, Azure Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, and MLflow for scalable deployment. - Analytical & Visualization Skills – Ability to analyze data, build predictive models, and create insightful visualizations. - Communication & Collaboration – Strong ability to engage with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to drive innovation More about us Our Process Automation business offers a range of solutions for process and hybrid industries, including our industry-specific integrated automation, electrification and digital solutions, control technologies, software and advanced services, as well as measurement & analytics, marine and turbocharging offerings.
