About the Role Grade Level for internal use 10 The Role Senior Software Developer Application Development The Team We are looking for a highly motivated enthusiastic and skilled software engineer for S P Global Market Intelligence This developer will help us accelerate various initiatives within Energy Datasets The Impact As a Senior Software Developer you will be part of the development team that your data skills and work with an emerging technology stack Responsibilities Identify analyze and isolate problems Work independently on projects and tasks with minimal assistance Develop solutions to meet key business needs Engineer components and common services based on standard development models and languages Produce system design documentation Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners Quickly learn new and internal technologies while mentoring junior teammates What We re Looking For Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology A minimum of 4 years of experience in application development utilizing various technologies Strong expertise in cloud computing and data processing platforms with at least three years of hands-on experience in these areas Solid understanding of big data and cloud-based technologies including data warehousing solutions data integration and programming languages such as Python and Scala Familiarity with applications developed using NET technologies including strong knowledge of object-oriented design NET Core C SQL and design patterns Good knowledge and experience working on multi-tier applications Experience with microservices architecture is a significant advantage Experience in building applications using desktop frameworks and data access technologies is a plus Experience with scheduling applications and services using NET technologies Proficiency in stored procedure programming and performance monitoring Must be a team player quick learner and willing to tackle challenging tasks as needed Experience with other cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus but not mandatory About S P
