Role Description - Fabrication & Welding - Perform MIG/TIG/Arc welding for MS, GI, and aluminium structures. - Fabricate customized solar mounting structures based on drawings. - Ensure strong, clean, and accurate welds. - Fitting & Assembly - Fit and assemble solar structures, rails, and supports on rooftops and ground mounts. - Align components to ensure proper tilt angle and structural stability. - Work with fasteners, clamps, channels, and brackets used in solar systems. - Technical Understanding - Interpret fabrication drawings, BOQs, and installation layouts. - Understand basic load calculations and structural safety requirements. - Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing as needed. - Site Work - Perform on-site fabrication where required. - Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. - Follow safety standards and ensure equipment handling compliance. - Quality Control - Inspect weld quality, structural accuracy, and fitting alignment. - Maintain tools, welding machines, and fabrication equipment. Skills & Qualifications - Proven experience in fabrication/welding (solar or structural). - Ability to read technical drawings. - Knowledge of MS, GI, and aluminium fabrication. - Understanding of rooftop safety standards. - Ability to work efficiently on-site and in workshops. - Physical fitness for rooftop work. Preferred Experience - Previous work in solar EPC or fabrication industry. - Experience with custom bracket making and on-site adjustments. - Familiarity with inverter, panel, and mounting system components. Location Project sites/Workshop depending on requirement. Salary Based on experience and skill level.
