About Position: We are focusing on Data Lake Integration, Security Logging & Threat Monitoring, Application On-boarding We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our security engineering team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our security data lake, building robust log shipping pipelines, and ensuring the secure handling of sensitive data. You will play a key part in enhancing our threat detection capabilities by enabling efficient collection and processing of security telemetry Role: Engineering Manager Location: Pune/Hyderabad Experience: 8 to 12 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, implement, and manage a scalable and resilient Security Data Lake within Google Cloud Platform, leveraging services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow. Develop and maintain robust log shipping pipelines to ingest security logs and telemetry from various sources into the Security Data Lake. Utilize and optimize log processors and forwarders, with specific proficiency in Fluent Bit, to ensure efficient and reliable data collection and transformation. Implement and manage data obfuscation technologies to protect sensitive information within the security data lake and throughout the data processing lifecycle, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Collaborate with Security Operations (SecOps) and other engineering teams to integrate diverse security data sources and ensure data quality and accessibility for analysis. Expertise You'll Bring: Contribute to the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of threat detection solutions by providing the underlying data infrastructure and ensuring timely data availability. Develop monitoring and alerting for data pipelines and the security data lake to ensure operational health and data integrity. Stay current with emerging security technologies, cloud security best practices, and threat landscapes to continuously improve our security data infrastructure. Automate deployment and management of security data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
