About ARKO ANSR is the market leader in enabling organizations to build manage and scale global teams through Global Capability Centers GCCs Global Capability Centers act as strategic business partners to their parent organizations making them global hubs for innovation and technology work Partnering with ANSR ARKO is extending its global presence by foraying into India ARKOs India Operations will be an integrated global hub focused on driving technology innovation thereby giving you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions to solve complex challenges for our business and our customers ARKO is the sixth largest convenience store operator in the United States and operates more than 3 800 sites across its retail wholesale and fleet segments Tax Accountant I Responsibilities Perform clerical tax accounting research tasks relating to such items as tax audits tax notices escheats Compile audit documentation as needed Compile tax notice documentation as needed Prepare exempt sales tax certificates as requested Support function to all areas of tax as needed This may include work related to implementation of software research data processing Conform and adhere to internal controls over tax accounting procedures as set forth by upper management Experience needed to succeed General Indirect tax reporting accounting and reconciliation exposure specifically related to indirect tax primarily U S sales tax Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products Excel Word and Outlook Advanced Excel skills i e x-lookups sumifs pivot tables Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines Strong computer presentation and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong research analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented with excellent time management skills This is not an exhaustive list of all job duties and requirements and may change based on business necessities
