Job Category Engineering Degree Level Bachelors At onsemi a world-class leader in image sensors for automotive industrial surveillance and consumer applications our vision extends beyond human perception We are currently seeking candidates with minimum 10 years of experience in hardware design to join our rapidly growing design center in Bangalore Responsibilities Responsible for Design of evaluation reference and interface boards and should support the hardware needs of the internal software and Frontend team Responsible for all technical issues during Design Bring-up and follow on support Work closely with ON s internal Design team Troubleshooting reference and evaluation systems documenting problems and suggesting solutions Technical support during chip bring-up and validation Validation of hardware designs using Signal integrity tools like Hyperlynx Sigrity Validation of IP developed by Digital Design team is an optional expectation Support PCB layout engineers with PCB layout guidelines and reviews Candidate Must have good Knowledge of Cadence Allegro and Orcad tools As a Senior Hardware Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering highspeed test hardware systems and solutions for onsemi sensors bring-up support for ON s Product Engineering Software and Frontend team It is desirable to be familiar with Multimedia processor or mobile phone architecture or Base Band processors and should have good exposure to ASIC FPGA based hardware designs and its bring-up and validation LI-RT1 Responsibilities Requirements Possess a Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering Minimum of 10 years experience in Hardware system design or mobile device system applications or cameras Experience with Multimedia Processors and Image Signal Processors Should have worked on mixed signal integrated circuits devices high speed digital designs and high speed serial interfaces Desirable to have understanding of Image and video fundamentals Desirable to have digital camera design knowledge and understanding of solid stage sensors Should be capable of handling issues with little assistance and should be an expert in handling test equipments Expertise in Schematic capture OrCAD and basic knowledge of Allegro layout Familiarity with software development tools environment and debuggers Should have excellent organizational skills should be a self starter Familiarity with python programming will be an added advantage LI-RT1 About Us onsemi Nasdaq ON is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future With a focus on automotive and industrial end-markets the company is accelerating change in megatrends such as vehicle electrification and safety sustainable energy grids industrial automation and 5G and cloud infrastructure With a highly differentiated and innovative product portfolio onsemi creates intelligent power and sensing technologies that solve the world s most complex challenges and leads the way in creating a safer cleaner and smarter world More details about our company benefits can be found here About the Team We are committed to sourcing attracting and hiring high-performance innovators while providing all candidates a positive recruitment experience that builds our brand as a great place to work
