Responsibilities:

Role Description:

We are seeking a software developer who will be developing, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes.

Reporting relationship:

This role will report to Delivery Manager / Senior Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Experience with AWS cloud platform – e.g. AWS CDK, DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora, Lambda, Glue
- Exposure to full stack web development – e.g. React/Next.js
- Version control tooling (Git/GitHub actions)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A passion for engineering and problem solving
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, highly collaborative environment.
- Eagerness to learn independently

Qualifications:

Must Have

Education: Graduate Bachelor's degree (any stream)

Other:

- Strong technical skills. Knowledge of SDLC. Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player. Good analytical skills, research oriented.
- Sound knowledge of Principal Financial Group specific application. Ability to resolve questions/issues related to the application as a Subject matter expert, ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
