Job description Role - Key Responsibilities: - Big Data Technologies - Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Flink (Good to have) - Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java 8/17+ and Spring Boot. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and manage full request/response lifecycle. - Apply Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas, Optional, etc.) for efficient coding practices. - Work with SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) for data storage and retrieval. - Optimize database queries using Oracle SQL Hints and other performance techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies. - Explore and integrate event-based frameworks (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing. - Contribute to the design and implementation of Big Data pipelines where applicable.
