Job Description Description We are seeking an experienced Fire and Safety Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety management, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety measures and compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facility. - Develop and implement fire safety plans and emergency response procedures. - Provide training and awareness programs for employees on fire safety and emergency procedures. - Investigate fire incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement. - Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards. - Maintain fire safety equipment and ensure it is in working order. - Collaborate with local fire departments and emergency services during drills and real emergencies. Skills and Qualifications - Inspect and maintain firefighting systems (hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers). - Conduct fire risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills. - Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, and local fire authority regulations. - Train employees on fire safety and evacuation procedures. - Certification in Fire Safety is preferred. - Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards in India. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops effectively. - Proficient in risk assessment and hazard analysis techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
