About Our Client Our client is a listed US-based technology company bringing forward-thinking, AI-powered marketing solutions with a global presence and are looking to expand their team here in India. Job Description - Handle tax and equity related technical accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718. - Conduct research activities on tax issues and have informed discussion with the tax consultant and advice the internal teams. - Prepare and advise on technical accounting standards, drafting of memos and policies. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes. - Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions. - Oversee audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth completion. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Support the Accounting & Finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities. The Successful Applicant A successful Assistant Financial Controller in Equity & Tax professional should have: - CA / CPA with 8-15 years of experience in Tax and Equity account. - Proficiency in technical accounting, financial reporting. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards (ASC 718, 842 etc) - Experience in the software sector or a similar domain. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
