Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Technology Consultant with proven experience in L2 production support, Kafka administration, and big data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high system availability, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth operations of critical IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Provide 24/7 L2 production support for enterprise IT systems. - Administer and operate Kafka clusters (preferably Confluent distribution), including deploying topics, connectors, streams, and schema via CLI and UI. - Perform log extraction, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting. - Manage and support Big Data ecosystems (preferably Cloudera). - Execute shell scripting and Python automation for system support and monitoring. - Support and maintain Java runtime systems and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Work within Linux/Unix environments and containerized platforms like OpenShift. - Utilize ticketing tools and adhere to ITIL practices for incident/change management. - Create and deliver presentations and reports on system health, incidents, and performance metrics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Technical Skills Required: - Kafka (Confluent preferred) - Cloudera / Big Data ecosystems - Linux / Unix - Java runtime systems - SQL (Oracle / PostgreSQL) - Shell scripting & Python - OpenShift / Container platforms - Excel & Reporting tools - Familiarity with HPE products is a strong plus. Additional Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and production support processes.
