Draftman

As a civil draftsman you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects Your role will involve working closely with engineers and architects to translate design concepts into precise drawings that can be used for construction and development Responsibilities 1 Drafting Produce accurate and detailed drawings using computer-aided design CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar tools This includes architectural structural and site plans as well as other technical drawings as required 2 Design Support Assist engineers and architects in developing design concepts and translating them into workable drawings Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure that drawings meet project requirements and specifications 3 Quality Control Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and correct errors or discrepancies Ensure that drawings comply with relevant codes regulations and industry standards 4 Documentation Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions Keep accurate records of project specifications changes and approvals 5 Coordination Coordinate with other members of the project team including engineers architects and contractors to ensure that drawings are accurate and complete Communicate effectively with team members to address any concerns or questions related to drawings and designs 6 Problem Solving Identify and solve technical problems related to drafting and design Offer creative solutions to challenges encountered during the design process Qualifications Degree or diploma in civil engineering drafting or a related field Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar programs Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work Knowledge of civil engineering principles standards and practices Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements Additional Requirements Previous experience working as a draftsman in the civil engineering or construction industry may be preferred Familiarity with relevant codes regulations and industry standards Professional certification or license may be required for some positions Only Male Candidates Required Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Experience total work 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
