Job Title: Junior Video Editor Location: Mumbai About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of editing basics, a good eye for storytelling, and the ability to work with short-form and long-form content. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment. Key Responsibilities - Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and brand projects. - Assist senior editors in assembling raw footage, selecting clips, and sequencing videos. - Add music, transitions, captions, and basic motion graphics as required. - Ensure brand consistency and creative quality across all video deliverables. - Work closely with the content, design, and creative teams to understand project requirements. - Manage and organize video assets, project files, and backups. - Stay updated with current editing trends, platform formats, and popular content styles. Skills & Requirements - Basic to intermediate knowledge of editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve. - Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). - Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. - Creative mindset with strong attention to detail. - Knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and basic animation is a plus. - A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work (mandatory). Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory). - 1 to 2 years of experience in video editing (internships/freelance work counted).
