Timely Delivery of Goods Deliver products to customers within the specified time frame. Choose the most efficient routes to minimize delays. Adhere to delivery schedules assigned by the operations team. Customer Interaction Greet customers politely and maintain a professional demeanor. Hand over goods carefully and ensure customer acknowledgment of receipt. Address basic queries related to the delivery or order process. Payment Handling (if applicable) Collect payments in cash or through digital modes for cash-on-delivery (COD) orders. Issue receipts where required and ensure accurate cash reconciliation at the end of the day. Vehicle and Equipment Management Operate delivery vehicles (bike, scooter, van, etc.) safely and in compliance with traffic regulations. Conduct routine checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor immediately. Documentation and Records Maintain accurate delivery logs, including time, location, and proof of delivery. Use company mobile applications or devices for tracking and reporting deliveries. Update order status in the system promptly after each delivery. Handling Returns and Complaints Collect returns or exchanges from customers as per company policy. Escalate customer complaints to the concerned department for resolution. Ensure proper documentation for returned items. Adherence to Company Policies Follow safety guidelines, traffic rules, and delivery protocols at all times. Wear company-provided uniforms and display identification where required.
