product area end-to-end by bringing clarity to ambiguity managing timelines dependencies and deliverables with accountability and a bias for action Collaborate deeply across disciplines by working hand-in-hand with product managers engineers researchers and data scientists to define vision shape strategy and deliver cohesive high-quality experiences Champion craft and design excellence ensuring every interaction visual and flow embodies precision empathy and the signature quality users expect from Microsoft 365 Design for an AI-native world translating cutting-edge technology such as chat voice agentic workflows and contextual intelligence into intuitive human-centered experiences Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies continuously exploring new interaction patterns and shaping Required Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Design Product Design Human Computer Interaction User Experience Interaction Design or related field AND 3 years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience e g demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems A portfolio that tells a powerful story demonstrating end-to-end product thinking visual and interaction design excellence prototyping skill and the ability to translate user insights into elegant usable experiences Depth across the design craft with mastery in information architecture interaction patterns systems thinking and micro-interactions coupled with a sharp sense for usability coherence and detail Proven ability to drive complex design problems through cross-functional collaboration balancing creativity user insight data and execution to deliver high-impact experiences on time and at quality Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft customer and or government security screening requirements are required for this role These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings Microsoft Cloud Background Check This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire transfer and every two years thereafter Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in Industrial design Product Design Human Computer Interaction User Experience Interaction Design or related field AND 3 years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Design Product Design Human Computer Interaction User Experience Interaction Design or related field AND 5 years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience e g demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems 2 years experience shipping products services or games and or delivering to customers as a
