Job Category Maintenance About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Cements Adani Cements part of the Adani Group is a leading player in the Indian cement industry committed to delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions With a focus on sustainability and advanced manufacturing technologies Adani Cements aims to revolutionize the construction sector and contribute to building a stronger more resilient future Job Purpose The Section Incharge - Civil Maintenance oversees the estimation procurement and management of materials for civil maintenance projects This role involves preparing accurate BOQs managing procurement and billing processes and coordinating with contractors and various departments to ensure smooth execution of projects The position is responsible for supervising colony maintenance ensuring health and safety compliance and maintaining high standards of infrastructure and living conditions Responsibilities Estimation and BOQ Preparation Prepare estimates and Bills of Quantities BOQ for civil maintenance projects ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements Coordinate with stakeholders for CCC and Capex approvals and manage NFA processes for civil projects Procurement and Material Management Oversee the preparation of Purchase Requisitions PRs and follow up on Purchase Orders POs to ensure timely procurement of materials Manage the issuance of building materials and maintain records ensuring efficient material usage and inventory control Billing and Documentation Handle the billing process for civil maintenance work including SES release record-keeping and financial documentation Maintain accurate records of civil maintenance activities ensuring compliance with internal control procedures Coordination and Contractor Management Coordinate with various departments including the mines and plant teams to ensure smooth execution of civil projects Manage communication and coordination with contractors and external parties to ensure project alignment and timely completion Colony and Infrastructure Maintenance Supervise colony maintenance activities including water supply sewerage drains and regular painting of residential and office buildings Ensure timely completion of infrastructure maintenance tasks to enhance living conditions and maintain high standards Health and Safety Management Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance the safety culture within the civil maintenance team Implement hazard identification and control measures including VPC reporting and near-miss documentation to ensure a safe working environment Internal Control Transparency Implement and monitor internal control systems to ensure accuracy reliability and transparency in daily operations Regularly assess and identify potential risks within the organization recommending and implementing control measures to enhance transparency Key Stakeholders - Internal Civil Maintenance Head Section Engineer - Civil Maintenance Maintenance Head Mines Team Plant Team Procurement Team Key Stakeholders - External Suppliers Contractors Qualifications Education Qualification BE in Civil Engineering Work Experience 10 years of experience in civil maintenance and project management within the industrial or mining sector Proven experience in estimation procurement and contractor management Industry Knowledge In-depth knowledge of civil engineering practices material management and project execution within industrial environments Strong expertise in safety management contractor coordination and infrastructure maintenance
