Job Summary We are looking for a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)with strong hands-on experience in Core Javabased automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires someone who can work independently and collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams. Experience 712 Years Location Remote Key Responsibilities Automation & Framework Development Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworksusing Core Java Develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver Implement test execution using TestNG and JUnit Build and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable test components Implement data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid frameworks Reporting & Quality Metrics Integrate Extent Reportsfor detailed execution reporting Analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and improve stability Track automation coverage, execution time, and defect leakage metrics CI/CD & DevOps Integration Integrate automation suites with Azure DevOps (ADO) Pipelines Configure automated test execution as part of CI/CD workflows Work with DevOps teams to enable parallel execution and environment-based runs Version Control & Collaboration Manage code using GitHub Follow best practices for branching, pull requests, and code reviews Collaborate with developers to shift testing left and improve testability Testing Best Practices Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity automation Participate in test strategy discussions and automation planning Identify automation candidates and ROI for test automation Mentorship & Leadership Mentor junior SDETs and manual testers transitioning to automation Enforce coding standards, framework guidelines, and best practices Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes Mandatory Technical Skills Core Java(Strong OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling) Selenium WebDriver TestNG JUnit Extent Reports GitHub(version control & collaboration) Azure DevOps (ADO) Pipelines CI/CD integration Automation framework design (Hybrid / POM) Maven or Gradle build tools Good to Have Skills API automation (REST Assured or similar) SQL / Database validation Basic understanding of Docker or cloud test execution Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Performance or security testing exposure Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and documentation skills Proactive mindset with ownership attitude What We Expect from a Senior SDET Not just writing scripts, but building automation solutions Ability to debug framework issues, not just test failures Ownership of automation quality and stability - CI/CD mindset and production-ready automation thinking
