The ideal candidate will bring strong academic grounding along with hands-on industry exposure in fashion design, merchandising, or aligned creative sectors. This role requires academic leadership, subject expertise, and the ability to inspire students while bridging classroom learning with real-world fashion business practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and tutorials in fashion promotion, branding, and marketing. - Lead designated modules and ensure all assessment processes meet academic quality benchmarks. - Contribute to curriculum enhancement in line with the University of Central Lancashire academic framework. - Guide and supervise student projects, portfolios, and final dissertations. - Provide academic and career mentorship to support student growth. - Participate in research, consultancy, or industry-driven initiatives to strengthen the program's profile. - Build strong connections with fashion and creative industry partners to enhance teaching relevance and student employability. PRE-REQUISITES - Bachelor's/Master's degree (or higher) in Fashion Marketing, Fashion Communication, or a closely related field. - Experience in fashion designing, merchandising, or related fashion industry roles is required. - 7-10 years of total industry/academic experience, with a minimum of 2-5 years in teaching. - 5-7 years of professional and/or academic expertise in fashion promotion, branding, or creative industries. - Demonstrated ability in curriculum development and student supervision. - A strong professional network within the fashion or creative sector will be an added advantage.
