Job Description

- Accurately classify customer product files to Avalara tax codes.
- Deliver tasks on time while effectively managing competing deadlines
- Communicate mapping results to customers.
- You will collaborate with senior team members on complex mapping files.
- You need to understand customer products and services across various industries.
- Learn new tax codes and their impact on customer products.

What Youll Need to be Successful

- Experience working with Global clients at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business development.
- Motivated and highly organized, with strong people and time management skills, and a results-oriented approach.
- Understanding of basic Sales Tax principles (e.g., candy definitions, food for home consumption) and ability to conduct basic tax research using available tools.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing or similar roles.
- 1-3 years of research-based experience, preferably in operations.
