Job Description
Position Description: Handling day-to-day finance and accounts operations including General Ledger, Reconciliations, Taxation, and support for audits under the supervision of the Manager.
Essential Qualifications: CA Inter / Postgraduate in Commerce (M. Com) from a recognized university.
Technical Qualifications / Experience: Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in SAP or similar ERP is essential, Familiarity in accounting & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in the Manufacturing Industry.
Work Schedule: Ability to work flexible schedule during day and weekends.

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.
- Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
- Actively support process improvement initiatives and team goals under the guidance of the Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required :
- Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries
- Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ethical conduct and data confidentiality
