FP A Manager Team Finance Reporting to Head of FP A ABOUT GAIN is a creative-led insight-driven company that blends data tech and creativity We believe the best ideas emerge where intelligence and creativity unite where insight sparks imagination and where innovation turns possibility into progress We are explorers of new frontiers shaping bold strategies that move people brands and businesses forward Individually and together our specialist teams provide the vision data and confidence brands and organisations need to make braver more impactful decisions Today as GAIN we work as a united force using data to fuel creativity and technology to unlock new possibilities As imagineers we don t just embrace innovation - we engineer it transforming information into action and ideas into breakthroughs This is where rebel thinking smart technology and data-driven creativity shape the future Through our five specialist teams Creative Studio Conversion Customer Science Experience and Performance Individually and together we work to fuel growth and deliver measurable impact THE ROLE The right candidate will be a qualified accountant who will thrive in a high performing team be able to demonstrate resilience in the face of challenge and bring attention to detail and a commercial mindset to their work You ll need to be confident working virtually across time zones and stakeholders whilst maintaining excellent financial discipline and communication They will be used to a dynamic business environment where problem-solving and process implementation are attractive challenges The candidate will be comfortable using large datasets to produce complex models which will support their understanding and forecasting of the Business Unit RESPONSIBILITIES As FP A Manager you ll support the Head of FP A in the group-level financial planning and analysis leading the development of robust financial models managing budgeting and forecasting cycles and providing actionable insight to guide sustainable growth This is an exceptional opportunity to design an evolving FP A function within a transforming Services business into the world of SaS You ll play a pivotal role in enhancing performance and customer visibility and supporting a business changing its place in the market The role will include Help support the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting across global markets ensuring alignment with company strategy Help support in the production of insightful board packs Own the financial models to support reporting scenario planning and strategic initiatives Working with the Finance Data Analyst in building dashboards and automated reports that bring clarity to performance and unit economics CAC LTV payback retention contribution margin Driving improvements to FP A processes utilising new systems and tools such as AI Acting as a bridge between FP A Financial Reporting and wider business functions Supporting investor and credit fund reporting due diligence and board-level analysis as the business continues its growth journey REQUIREMENTS 5 Years PQE ACA CIMA ACCA Experience using large datasets strong excel modelling and data driven skills Expert-level financial modeller You can build robust scalable and complex models including experience working with SQL Data-savvy You are highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets Experience with BI tools like Looker Tableau or preferably Power BI is a major plus Bonus Previous experience in PE-backed business particularly within the industrial sector is ideal but not an essential Experience and understanding of accounting systems HOW YOU LL WORK Constant curiosity You can think critically and understand the data knowing where you need to take action You re analytical with the ability to investigate and resolve Pushing boundaries You ll make the most efficient use of technology suggesting process improvements The power of our imagination You re a problem solver who goes the extra mile You ll know the best approach to take with clients to get results Making it happen You re proactive and you know you can make a difference You use your sound judgement when making decisions and you take responsibility for your decisions and actions Putting people first You ll build effective relationships with people internally and externally understanding both business and client needs GAIN is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex race disability age sexual orientation gender reassignment religion or belief marital status or pregnancy and maternity
