You may refer our website: www.cairnindia.com The Opportunity We are looking for Development Geologists who have the passion to be part of our Sub-surface Group and work for reservoir characterization and modeling projects to support Field Development planning, new and infill drilling activities across various fields in multi-disciplinary teams of geologists, geophysicists, petrophysics and reservoir and engineers. Roles and Responsibilities for Development Geologist: - Construct geological maps & cross-sections integrating well and seismic data - Conduct reservoir characterization studies and generate of 3D static geomodels through integration of geophysical, geological, petrophysical and dynamic reservoir data - Contribute to field development plans - Contribute to existing model updates, developing/maintaining workflows, volumetrics and calibrating to dynamic data - Provide input to the identification, justification and review of drilling opportunities - Work with reservoir and drilling engineers to mature well locations to drill ready status - Provide well operations support through well planning, geological prognosis preparation, well placement, monitoring and geo-steering - Good knowledge of Geophysics, Petrophysics and Reservoir Engineering is required - Provide support to the well and reservoir management plans of fields - Present technical proposals to the management, joint venture partners and regulatory board - Proficiency in handling industry standard softwares. - Mentoring junior technical staff Qualification & Experience - Education: M.Sc./ M.Tech in Geology - Experience: 7+ years - Skilled level PETREL user.
