Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join our team and drive critical IT and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Act as the bridge between business objectives and IT capabilities, identifying process or system improvements to enhance quality and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture clear and actionable business needs.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify gaps and propose optimal solutions, ensuring alignment between business processes and IT initiatives.
- Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, user stories, use cases, and test cases with measurable acceptance criteria.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), analyzing change requests, evaluating impacts, and supporting informed decision-making across teams.
- Depending on the project, may serve as Product Owner to align team direction with strategic business goals and prioritize backlog items.
- Guide teams through various delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Lead and support the testing lifecycle - from planning through execution and defect management - to ensure solution integrity and quality.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building internal knowledge, templates, and best practices.
- Facilitate or actively participate in Agile ceremonies, and may act as a Scrum Master in close collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Collaborate with business development teams (BDG) during the pre-sales phase to define project scope and provide domain expertise.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry, with a strong background in managing complex and cross-functional projects.
- Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
- Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, facilitate meetings, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Prior experience in Retail, eCommerce, and/or Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domains is a strong advantage.
