Job Description

- Perform physical examinations to assess patients overall health
- Diagnosis and Treatment:Analyze medical test results, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tools
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on gathered information and test results
- Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medications, surgery, or other therapeutic interventions
- Prescription and Medication Management:Prescribe appropriate medications and dosage, considering the patient's condition, medical history, and potential interactions
- Monitor and adjust medication regimens as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Procedures and Surgeries:Perform minor medical procedures within their scope of practice
- Refer patients to specialists for advanced procedures or surgeries when necessary
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention:Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications
- Conduct screenings for various conditions and recommend immunizations
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
- Document diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in the patient's medical history
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team:Collaborate with nurses, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate care
- Continuing Medical Education:Stay current with medical research, advancements, and best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance skills
- Compliance with Ethical and Legal Standards:Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
- Emergency Care:Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and stabilization
- Coordinate with emergency medical services and other healthcare providers as needed
- Communication:Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide clear explanations of medical conditions, treatment plans, and potential risks
