Head Waiter

We're looking for a professional and charismatic Head Waiter to lead our service team and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the service team during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - Welcome guests, guide them to their tables, and ensure warm, attentive service throughout their visit. - Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. - Train and mentor junior waitstaff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest engagement. - Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness. - Oversee table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining room ambiance. - Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, specials, dietary options, and upselling techniques. - Assist with reservations, seating plans, and service flow management. - Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and restaurant SOPs. Requirements - Proven experience as a Head Waiter, Captain, or Senior Server in a premium casual or fine-dining environment. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a guest-first mindset. - Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and festive occasions.
