Job Description BricknBolt is a managed marketplace providing construction services. We are category creators and front-runners in space. We are solving one of the most complex business problems and creating an ecosystem of trust for the Stakeholders - Customers, Construction professionals, and Material vendors. Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. We are just not trying to organize but disrupt the industry completely using technology and process - creating the playbook for the industry. Indian real estate is earmarked to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. With 85%+ construction still unorganized in India, Brick&Bolt is on a path to capture the massive and super-broken market using our technology and processes. Expanding to more than 12 cities in 15 months. With the Series A2 round, Brick&Bolt has raised a total of $16 million. Earlier Sequoia Surge, Foundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital. Designation: Ops Manager - Design aka: The Architect Whisperer | Customer Happiness Champ | Design Ops Guru The Role in a Nutshell: You're the power player behind smooth design delivery. As Manager Design Operations, you're the one ensuring architects can do their best work and customers get exactly what they envisioned without delays, confusion, or chaos. You'll streamline design workflows, align internal teams, handle escalations like a diplomat, and make sure payments follow the progress. What You'll Do: Act as the glue between the architects and the customers, translating technical drawings into customer-friendly conversations and vice versa. Manage and monitor the entire structural design process from kickoff to sign-off. Keep timelines tight and expectations tighter. Jump in to resolve any issues, escalations, or confusion that pops up. Be the calm, composed fixer everyone counts on. Track project progress and ensure timely approvals and payment collections. Build and maintain dashboards that track project health, turnaround time, feedback loops, and customer NPS, and improve them continuously. Collaborate with internal teams, Architects, Customer Success, Sales, and Finance to make sure everyone is in sync and on mission. Who You Are: Bachelor's/Master's in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Design Management 4+ years of relevant experience in design operations, customer delivery, or project leadership Fluent in both design-speak and customer-speak A process-driven person who can also think creatively when plans go sideways Experience managing escalations and large-volume design pipelines Bonus Points If You: Have worked in a tech-enabled design or construction company Know how to keep both designers and customers happy (no small feat) Bring a mix of analytical thinking and emotional intelligence Why Join Us Because we're not building buildings we're building the future of building.
