Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Architect to lead and enhance our automation testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing methodologies. They will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, improving testing efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Automation Framework Development:Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable automation testing frameworks to optimize software testing processes.
- Process Assessment & Improvement:Evaluate current testing practices and tools to identify automation opportunities and enhance overall efficiency.
- Standards & Best Practices:Establish and enforce automation testing standards, guidelines, and coding best practices to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Collaboration Across Teams:Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation testing within SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automated Test Development:Create and maintain automated test scripts, test suites, and test data sets to ensure software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Test Scenario Prioritization:Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on risk analysis, business impact, and usage frequency.
- Infrastructure Management:Implement and maintain automation infrastructure, including test environments, tools, and frameworks, to support continuous testing.
- Test Monitoring & Optimization:Analyze test results and metrics to detect defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Define automation strategies, goals, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders, providing updates on progress and outcomes.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship:Provide guidance and mentorship to automation testers and teams, fostering a culture of quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing automation testing frameworks for large-scale software projects.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Strong experience in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing, performance testing, and security testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in automation framework design and implementation.
- Strong technical leadership capabilities with a track record of driving automation initiatives.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for developing automation scripts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex issues and develop effective automation solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior automation testers.
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation strategies.
