Their clients span across multiple high-impact industries including vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, consumer goods and retail, industrial machinery manufacturers, medical technology, basic materials, spare parts, renewable energy, high-tech and telecommunications, and logistics service providers (LSP). Job Description: Lead Data Engineer As a Lead Data Engineer, you will architect and lead the development of enterprise-scale data infrastructure. You will guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable data solutions. Tasks: - Architect and lead the development of robust data pipelines, ETL systems, and data warehouses - Write and review high-quality code in Python and SQL - Manage and optimize infrastructure on AWS - Lead the implementation of data orchestration using Airflow, Databricks or similar - Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to align data strategy with business goals - Drive adoption of best practices in data architecture, performance tuning, and automation - Mentor team members and promote a culture of technical excellence Professional Requirements and Expertise: - 6+ years of experience in data engineering - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline - Deep expertise in data warehousing, Python, SQL, ETL/ELT data pipelines, and cloud platforms - Strong experience with Airflow or Dagster for orchestration Good to Have: - Knowledge of Docker, serverless technologies, data architecture - Experience with DBT - Experience with Kafka & Spark / PySpark - Familiarity with NoSQL DBs - Proficiency in CI/CD - Experience with Databricks Personal Skills: - Visionary and hands-on technical leader - Strong mentoring and team development capabilities - Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams - Genuine motivation to contribute to 4flow's success and align with company culture and values
