Cyber Security Specialist Experience: 3-5 years Location: Hyderabad Immediate Joiners Preferred. Responsibilities - Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, encryption, and other security technologies. - Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor IT systems for security threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents. - Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a secure IT environment. - Security Audits: Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement. - User Training: Provide security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security and compliance. - Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions. - Security Documentation: Maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, incident reports, and security controls. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal security standards. - Security Patch Management: Manage the application of security patches and updates to systems and software. - Vendor Security: Evaluate and ensure the security of third-party vendors and service providers. - Respond to and, where appropriate, resolve or escalate reported security incidents including incidents or events reported by MDR provider - Key Security Tools - Proofpoint/Microsoft Defender/Cisco/Manage Engine/SentinelOne. Qualifications we seek in you - Effective problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of data privacy regulations and principles. - Experience with security monitoring and incident response. - Familiarity with security tools and technologies. - Strong understanding of network and system security. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), are preferred. - Proven experience in IT security and cybersecurity roles. - Strong knowledge of security technologies, best practices, and emerging threats.
