Business Development Manager - Logistics Freight Forwarding- Location Bangalore- Job Type Full-time- Industry Logistics Freight Forwarding Supply Chain- Experience 10 years in Sales Business Development Logistics Job Summary We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with strong experience in logistics freight forwarding transportation and supply chain solutions The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in achieving sales targets developing new business managing key accounts and driving revenue growth in a competitive logistics environment Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Sales- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand business across freight forwarding transportation customs clearance and contract logistics - Identify market trends competitor activities and business opportunities to drive revenue growth - Conduct market research and mapping to understand customer potential and industry developments - Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets - Manage rate negotiations with liners airlines clearing agents and logistics partners Client Relationship Management- Build maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients - Handle customer queries and offer effective solutions to improve customer satisfaction - Ensure timely collection of payments as per company credit policy - Conduct regular meetings follow-ups and calls with clients to address pre- and post-shipment issues Operational Coordination- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and excellent customer experience - Support operational teams in preparing SOPs and improving service quality - Ensure compliance with local and destination port regulations for logistics operations Strategic Planning and Reporting- Contribute to the company s business plan sales strategies and performance improvement initiatives - Maintain and expand a structured client database across various segments and geographies - Prepare and present periodic sales reports forecasts and market intelligence updates RequirementsEducation- MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management preferred - Masters in International Business MIB - Bachelor s in Computer Applications BCA Experience- 10 years of experience in logistics freight forwarding and supply chain sales- Experience with companies such as Emirates Logistics Flyjac Logistics Damco or similar is an advantage- Strong understanding of freight operations transportation customs clearance and supply chain solutionsSkills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong analytical negotiation and problem-solving abilities- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering valueWhy join us- Opportunity to work with a fast-growing logistics organization- Dynamic and collaborative work environment- Attractive incentives and growth opportunities for high performers ref updazz com
