Network EngineerRole and Responsibilities:-Conversant in best practice appropriate to network design and security.Understanding of hardware and software performance and scaling limitations.Network operations & design, implementation, and management using different firewall Cisco,Cisco Routers & switches (Nexus & Catalyst), routers. Working on Network VAPT remediationConfiguration and Maintenance of all Networking Devices (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless Controller and Access Points)Solution Proposal and Implementation on Networking Devices and Setup based on new Projects and Business RequirementsAs a Network Engineer, you'll make technical directions for Solution providing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctioning Hardware and complex network-related issues.Extensive experience in network operation in Security, LAN & WAN.Should have hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.Knowledge of Routing Protocols: RIP, RIP2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS and MP BGPKnowledge of Switch functions, VLAN, HSRP, STP, VTP, VXLAN, VTEPKnowledge of Cisco Devices: Cisco 1900/2900/3900, ASR routers Series Routers, cisco 6500/4500/3750 Nexus Series SwitchesTechnical knowledge and practical experience in Security technologies and routing protocols, QoS & switching technology.Required Technical and Professional Expertise:-Troubleshooting leased lines and Monitoring Network Related Problems for sites across the country.Taking Back-up Configurations of N/W equipment like Routers, Switches and ASA firewall on weekly basis. Network monitoring using Network Management Tools like SNMP and PRTG.Should have handled Cisco switches and routersMinimum experience in support and troubleshooting of network devicesShould have experience in a production network environment in CISCO data devices.Good Knowledge of L2, and L3 Protocols for IP Networks e.g. DHCP, DNS, VLAN, PPP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, QoS etc.Sound knowledge of routing protocol.Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise:-An intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time managementProven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededUp-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publicationsYou love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting-edge technologiesAmbitious individuals who can work in their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work
