Job Description Description As an Emergency Doctor, you will be a critical part of our emergency department, providing immediate and effective medical care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. You will work in a fast-paced environment, making quick and accurate decisions to stabilize and treat patients. Responsibilities - Rapidly assess patients to determine their condition and the severity of their illness or injury. - Initiate appropriate medical treatments, including resuscitation, stabilization, and management of life-threatening conditions. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, ECGs, X-rays, and CT scans. - Diagnose conditions based on patient symptoms, medical history, and test results. - Perform emergency procedures, such as intubation, wound suturing, and fracture stabilization. - Manage cardiac arrests, trauma cases, and other critical emergencies. - Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care. - Refer patients to appropriate specialists or departments for further treatment when necessary. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including history, examination findings, treatments administered, and progress notes. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatments, and prognoses. - Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families in distressing situations. - Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and emergency care protocols. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. - Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. - Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards of care. Qualifications - MBBS degree from a recognized institution. - Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine or related field preferred. - Valid medical license to practice in India. - Experience in emergency care settings is highly desirable. - Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. - Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
