Inviting applications for the role of [Lead Consultant], [Java & AWS Developer]
We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java, JavaScript, and AWS to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-native applications, modern CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments. This role requires an individual who thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java.
. Build responsive and dynamic front-end components using JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue - preferred).
. Deploy and manage applications on AWS Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, and S3.
. Secure application configurations and secrets using AWS IAM and Parameter Store.
. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
. Work in Agile teams, actively contributing to JIRA sprint planning, grooming, and reviews.
. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for Kubernetes (K8s) deployments and troubleshooting.
. Maintain documentation and promote best practices in cloud-native development.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
. Bachelor&rsquos or master&rsquos degree in computer science or related field.
. Experience in Java and JavaScript..
. Solid experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, particularly Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, IAM, and Parameter Store.
. Strong understanding of GitLab source control and CI/CD pipeline management.
. Working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.
. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using JIRA for project tracking.
. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Basic knowledge of or experience with Microsoft Azure services.
. Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
