Job Description Job Title: I&C Engineer Location: India and Europe Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 3 - 7 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated I&C Engineer with a strong foundation in Siemens PLCs and Industrial SCADA programming, control systems design, and industrial communication protocols. The ideal candidate will support the execution of Instrumentation and control projects across various industrial sectors, including energy and process industries. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Instrumentation and control and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment. We are looking for a candidate to be initially based in Ahmedabad, India. This position offers the possibility of hybrid working. After acquiring expertise in the client's systems and effectively integrating into their work environment, the candidate will be considered for a potential long-term deputation assignment in Europe (4 to 6 years). Key Responsibilities: - Develop, configure, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7) - Design, Development/configuration and troubleshooting of SCADA system - Program and configure HMI systems and AC drives - Work with industrial communication protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet-IP - Design/review automation hardware architecture, including control panel design and electrical drawings review - Participate in FAT/SAT, on-site commissioning, and system testing. - Assist in preparing BOMs, system documentation, and technical manuals. - Provide installation, maintenance, and technical support for I&C systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution in various industries sectors - Support contract review, technical proposal creation, and cost estimation Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, and SCADA /HMI development - Strong knowledge of automation hardware, network configuration, and industrial communication. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. - Knowledge of control systems design and safety standards. - Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent. Software & Tools Experience: - Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7 - Industrial SCADA - Preferable experience in C/C++ or Scripting language, or Python etc. - MS Office for Documentation Compensation Details: - India (Initial Assignment): Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and technical expertise. - Europe (Long-term Deputation): A net take-home compensation of 3,800 per month, along with additional benefits as per company policy, will be offered during the deputation period.
