About the job Program Lead - Women Agency Organization profile India is a nation of a billion dreams a billion aspirations and above all great opportunities To turn these dreams into reality especially for the vulnerable section of the society our partner organization has taken the path of inclusive development to address their basic need The Foundation works with some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities across India with the objective of integrating them into mainstream development process of the country It focuses its efforts on five core pillars of Rural Transformation Education Health Women Empowerment Disaster Management Urban Renewal and Arts Culture Heritage Position overview As the Women s Agency Program Lead within the Women Empowerment Portfolio take a leadership role in designing and implementing programs that enhance the agency of women at the household community and governance levels Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop and lead the implementation of programs focused on enhancing women s agency within the Women Empowerment Portfolio Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts Design and execute workshops and training sessions to build the leadership and advocacy skills of women participants Establish partnerships with external organizations and experts to bring diverse perspectives and resources to women s agency programs Lead the coordination of community-level initiatives to promote women s participation in decision-making processes Advocate for policy changes that support and strengthen women s agency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders Monitor and evaluate the impact of women s agency programs gathering insights for continuous improvement Personal Qualifications and experience Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing programs focused on women s empowerment Proven track record of successful leadership in women s agency initiatives Demonstrated positive shifts in women s agency at the household community and governance levels Comprehensive understanding and addressing of the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts Enhanced leadership and advocacy skills among women participants through effective workshops and training sessions Successful establishment of partnerships with external organizations and experts Impactful community-level initiatives promoting women s participation in decision-making processes Advocacy efforts leading to policy changes that support and strengthen women s agency Robust monitoring and evaluation providing actionable insights for program
