Job Requirements
- Phenom People is looking for a talented and experienced Product Development Engineer II to join our Engineering team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time position.
- The Product Development Engineer II will be responsible for developing and maintaining products and services that meet customer needs and specifications. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to work independently and collaboratively to design, develop, and test products.
- For this team, we are looking for a PDE II with backend and data engineering background. We need Candidates who has below credentials.
- well versed in one Programming language and understanding of data structures and algorithms(programming languages we use are java, scala, python we use limited but it is ok if they know only python and open to learn other languahes)
- Good understanding of Distributed systems, their working, common design patterns in distributed systems
- understanding of different database types and their use cases and internal working at high level.
- Any one of the distributed computing framework understanding like spark, flink and working experience in these.
- fundamental understanding of containerization like docker and k8s basics, CI/CD pipelines.
- HLD and LLD of some famous systems
Data engineering:
- approaches for processing huge datasets in constrained environment
- different file formats and usecases
- building data pipelines, data modeling basics
