Position Summary Level: Senior Consultant As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions. Deloitte Engineering is looking for a Senior Consultant with expertise in Databricks and AI/ML infrastructure to help our teams build and operate secure, scalable, databricks solutions. You will shape and deliver on our asset strategy by performing the following tasks: - Administer workspaces and set up user and workspace permissions. - Manage clusters, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and resource allocation; oversee auto-termination. - Implement security controls including RBAC, encryption, compliance, and auditing. - Set up alerting and monitor resources using tools such as Azure Monitor or AWS CloudWatch. - Integrate Databricks with Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO). - Connect Databricks to data sources (e.g., databases, data lakes, external storage). - Integrate Databricks with third-party tools (Tableau, Power BI, custom applications). - Track usage and optimize resource deployment. - Automate Databricks resource management using REST APIs, CLI, Terraform, or ARM templates. - Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior team members. - Document solutions and share knowledge across teams. Qualifications Learn more about our Business Model Transformation practice Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise data platforms or cloud infrastructure. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Databricks environments. - Experience integrating Databricks with Okta SSO and third-party tools (Tableau, Power BI, custom applications). - Direct experience deploying and maintaining Databricks on AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. - Communication skills and team mentoring experience. - Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to data platforms and cloud settings. Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). - Understanding of cloud networking best practices. - Consulting background in client-facing roles. - Relevant certifications (Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP). Education: - Minimum of a bachelor's degree (3 Year) within a technical field.
