Job Description Position: Electrical Engineer Location; Bangalore, Mumbai, Noida Kolkata Education Qualification :B.E or M.E in Electrical Engineering Years of Experience: 7- 15 Years Brief Job Description: Design experience in gas & coal based thermal power plants, captive power plants and industrial projects : 1. Design and procurement activities related to electrical systems / equipment. 2. Sizing calculations for all major electrical equipment or systems. 3. Preparation of RFQs for major electrical packages 4. Vendor print review for all electrical equipment or systems along with cable schedules & interconnection wiring diagrams 5. Exposure on Layouts such as General Arrangement drawings, Cable & conduit drawings, Earthing & Lightning Protection drawings, Lighting drawings. 6. Exposure on Control and protection, review of schematics for EHV, MV & LV systems. 7. Exposure to Load flow, Short circuit, Largest Motor starting studies usingETAP. 8. Estimation of BOQs for cabling, earthing, lightning & lighting systems. 9. Exposure to relay setting and co-ordination 10. Inspection services for major electrical equipment (Optional) 11. Familiarity in ETAP, DIALux, AutoGrid Pro, etc. 12. Familiarity in 3D Engineering tools Aveva E3D, Hexagon Smart 3D, Navisworks
